What's the big deal about Young Living

Lice Update, Ebook Sale, and Cute Giveaway

Can you believe this is our first experience with lice? I made it 19+ years of parenting 7 long haired daughters and one rascally son without having to deal with it.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

I *think* we have beaten those little devils and are no longer living in the grips of mayonnaise-greased, Listerine scented fear, but I'm not completely ready to proclaim I know all the secrets to lice extermination and removal. (Whispering: We mustn't anger them!)

I'll post the methods we found successful after we have been completely lice free for 2-3 weeks.

  1. Have you had enough lice advice yet? Since we do foster care, we have had a lot of opportunities to practice every typeof remedy and cure. The thing that keeps them at bay around here is diligent combing. I comb every head in the house with the lice comb morning and night for a full week after I see the last nit. That piece of advice came from a teacher friend, and I think it’s why we can bring children in to our home who are truly infested and not have it spread to the rest of our heads and home. And, WOW! the quality time we spend together in my bathroom!

Warm hugs to you, my friend!

  2. Thanks. I’ve been looking at your ebook for a long time now and finally bought it. :) Looking forward to managing my own mouth and helping my children manage theirs too!
