Biz Stain Fighter Challenge

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Biz Stain & Odor Eliminator for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Over the years, I have had lots of discussions with friends about how to get out tough stains from clothes. It's one of those common motherhood dilemmas, isn't it?

So, when I was invited to take part in the Biz Stain Fighter Challenge, I gladly accepted!

Did you know Biz contains more stain fighting ingredients than other popular brands?

Even so, I was a little nervous when we found that our cherished "Dolly" had been left out in the backyard for an undetermined time, and had barely survived a thunderstorm.

I hate to admit it, but I wasn't sure that Biz, even with its extra stain fighting power, would be able to handle the amount of dirt and grime Dolly had picked up during her travails.

See what I mean? Can you feel my pain?

But, I forged ahead to see what Biz could do for Dolly. I decided Dolly would definitely need a good presoak, so I rubbed in some Biz liquid and left her in a pan of water for about an hour. I could tell that the stain fighting ingredients were starting to work right away!

After about an hour, I tossed Dolly into the washer, along with the water she had soaked in, and I added my regular detergent. Honestly, I was still a little skeptical about how she would come out.

So, I'm sure you can imagine how thrilled I was that Dolly came out as good as new!

Even the yellow stitching around her hair that had ground in dirt was clean!

As you can see, I'm not the only one who was thrilled with the results!

  1. Oh man. As a mom of almost 7, I have two major laundry dilemmas:
    1) Kids throwing wet, stinky laundry (like pee-clothes, or wet wash cloths, or muddy socks) into the bottom of the hamper, then piling 6 more loads on top of it (so it stinks of mildew or grows mold by the time it sees the light of day)
    2) Older kids doing laundry without pre-treating or looking for stains BEFORE throwing clothing into the wash.

The first problem I’m STILL trying to find a solution for, but for the second problem, I’ve begun keeping a bottle of stain remover right in my bathroom and a bottle by the washer.

Oddly enough, MY clothes (especially shirts) are the ones that most often need stain-remover. So every night as I undress and change into pajamas, I check my shirts over and squirt the stain remover on the clothing before throwing them into the hamper. This seems to help immensely.

I’ll have to look into BIZ. Thanks!

  2. I so need this. We’ll see if it can pass the challenge of 4-year old twin boys and their sidekick three year old. It’s seriously a good thing I don’t have any boys younger than the twins. None of their clothes survive. And only half of Ruthie’s clothes survive to be passed down.

  3. Your pictures look so familiar! My five year old has another version of that doll, who she named Brown Dolly a while back, for good reason! She’s been washed a number of times, but do you think that a good soaking in Biz would still help?
