Occasionally, I run into new homeschoolers who worry that they won't be able to do it "right", and I remember feeling that very same way when I started.
I hope I can encourage as many homeschoolers as possible that there is no one "right" way to do it, and that yes, you CAN homeschool your child all the way through graduation.
I just dropped off my oldest child at college. The child who received a full academic college scholarship. The child who made perfect scores on the reading and writing portions of the ACT. The child who has never been in a traditional classroom.
We didn't do it perfectly. We had plenty of bumpy spots and mistakes, but we kept plugging along and made it through, and I think I would call our first homeschool graduate a success!
The chart below speaks VOLUMES, and I hope it encourages you to stay the course in your homeschool journey.
And for those who wonder why most homeschoolers don't want to bow to government regulation, look over this graphic carefully. We seem to be doing just fine on our own.
