Homeschool Moms’ Winter Summit ~ I’m Speaking!

I am super excited that I have been invited to speak at The Homeschool Moms' Winter Summit in Edmond, Oklahoma, held on January 27-28, 2012!

This is not a curriculum fair or a weekend "how to" session, but more of a weekend of encouragement. A mid-winter pick-me-up. A group hug, if you will.

If you think you might need a mid-winter pick-me-up (Hello??? What homeschool mom doesn't?), but you would like to know more about the summit, watch the video above to see what attendees last year said about it.

And guess what? ONE attendee who registers in December will win a half day spa treatment! WAHOO!

I would love to meet some of you, my peeps! We could hang. We could shoot the breeze. We could jump on the hotel beds!

Oh... you don't jump on beds? Well, neither do I. (Ahem) That was just a test. You passed.

  1. Ohhh…wish I could do this! Sounds great! Except…I would totally get you to jump on the beds with the moms. 😉

  2. We are so excited to have you! Thanks again for agreeing to leave your family to minister to us. May you all be blessed!

  3. On, and just one eensy weensy little thing…as much as we all love getting together for our Winter Summit Group Hug, we do have to be home before January 78th. :-) So the Summit will be over on Saturday, the 28th.

Bahahaha! Dana, my 11 year old just this minute alerted me to the same thing! What was I thinking???

Actually, I put that there to represent that no one is perfect, save God alone. (Looks around to see if anyone fell for it.)

  4. sigh…you’re coming to Oklahoma…to a city I visit at least weekly?! Guess I’ll have to check it out…

  5. I so want to be there! It is even at our church. We’ll just have to see if we can work it out to go. My husband is traveling to Cambodia later this winter to do some teaching, so we are tight on both his time-off work and extra cash. :) God is greater than our circumstances . . . in fact, He ordained them, so if I get to attend, you can be sure I’ll look you up! Your blog has been such a fun retreat and refreshment over the last few years. May God bless you as you prepare your words and heart!
