Does Your Child Dream Big?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPromise for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

UPromise_Brand_160x600_static.jpg (3 documents)Remember when I told y'all that my daughter wanted one thing for her 16th birthday, and it wasn't a car or a phone or a trip?

She wanted to build a water well for a poor village in Africa.

When I found out about her dream I did what I could to help her out, even though I honestly didn't think she would be able to raise the $5,000+ that was needed.

If you followed that story, you know she blew my socks off with what she accomplished, thanks to the contributions of many of you!

Well, now it is your turn to tell how you have encouraged a child's dream, and guess what? Upromise is giving away $20,000 to users who share inspiring stories!

10 winners will get $1,000 and one grand prize winner will get $10,000!

You better believe I am headed over there to share the story of my Madison and her water well!

Go to www.upromisetodream.com to submit your dream for your child or a dream you have helped your child achieve. Be sure to view the dream wall official rules to increase your chances of winning a prize.

Let me know in the comments what dream you shared. I would absolutely LOVE it if one (or more) of you won!

  1. Madison has been an inspiration to so many, and NOT just children…she has showed adults that they should dream big too. :)

Thank-you so much for your encouraging blog! I have been visiting your site anonymously for about a month. I have to tell you it truly brightens my day! What a wonderful feeling to know that you are an encouragement to so many! (But you probably hear this all the time!) You must be so proud of your oldest, she seems like a rare jewel in these days of “worldly” teenagers: )

I just love that Madison! I can’t wait to share this post w/Wyatt & Willa. Even thought they’re still so little, we’ve made it a family goal to encourage our kids to share Christ’s love with others in the world who are less fortunate (recently we let them pick out from the World Vision gift catalog what they wanted to donate & Wyatt chose water well supplies, too! :) Their seeing Madison’s heart for others will surely make a lasting impression on theirs. Thanks so much for posting, & way to go Madison!
