What's the big deal about Young Living

New Growth – Signs of Spring

I love this time of year! The weather beckons us outdoors to see what new things are waiting to be discovered.

One of my favorite things about heading outside to take care of the plants and animals is that before I know it, I have a companion or two who wants to help out.

I hardly ever turn down good help.

I think it is so important to work side by side with your children. Not only are you instilling in them a strong work ethic, but you are giving them the opportunity to open up to you and to get to know you better.

Spring is a time of new growth for baby plants and animals, but you can also use it as a time of growth in your relationships with your children.

Head outside with your kids today to pull some weeds or plant some seeds and see how your relationship blooms!

And don't forget to visit my awesome friends who are ready to help you put your house in order in the areas of faith, finance, decorating, and food! (By the way, the 5 of us have some SUPER giveaways lined up for next Monday! Don't miss it!)

  1. O I think this is so true – there’s nothing like being outside in the fresh air (*very* fresh if you lived where we live!) and working together. I love being out in the veg plot with hubby too – such a great feeling. Happy planting and watering!

  2. Connie,
I just came upon your blog! My name is Keri and we homeschool as well! I really like working outside w/ the kiddos too! It is a great time of year for that, and great schooling too! I’m having a fun time looking through your posts. Have a great day!

  3. This is a truly important reminder to us all, Connie! Sometimes us mama’s forget that our real job is to build relationships and point them to Christ through these relationships.
