Cookie Mix in a Jar

My Madison made these cookie mixes in jars (along with the homemade brown sugar body scrub) to sell at a recent craft fair. She filled the jars, printed out instructions, stuck them to the jars, and cut the fabric for the tops.

The mixes have everything already included except the oil and eggs, and she even offered optional add-ins like walnuts, or chocolate chips, for a small additional charge of course.

We have several of them left over, and plan to give them as Christmas gifts.

These are super simple to make, only requiring large mouth quart canning jars and the ingredients for the cookies you like.

Check out all these cookie mix in a jar recipes  and make some of your own!

  1. These cookie jar mixes are fun! Earlier this fall, I posted one for candy cane bath salt at 6jellybeans@blogspot.com under recipes. It looks great as it is colored like a candy cane in layers of red and white. Fun to make and receive!

  2. Wow, how cool! The body scrub is such a great idea!!

PS Can I be on your Christmas list? :)

  3. Thank you for sharing the link to the recipes. I am planning on making these for gifts this year for Christmas.
    I love your blog!
